Thesis ရဲ့ Chapter 3 ကို ကျောင်းတော်တော်များများက research methodology ရေးပါတယ်။ အချို့သော ကျောင်း၊ဘာသာရပ်တွေကတော့ situational analysis သို့မဟုတ် background သို့မဟုတ် Overview ကိုရေးပါတယ်။ အခုကတော့ Research Methodology ကို ပြောပြချင်တာပါ။ Chapter 3 ဆိုတာ သုတေသနကို ဘယ်လိုလုပ်ခဲ့လဲဆိုတာကို အသေးစိတ်ရှင်းပြတဲ့ အခန်းပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
Quota SamplingQuota Sampling
Quota Sampling ဆိုတာက Population ရဲ့ အချိုးအစားအတိုင်း Sample ကို ရွေးချယ်တဲ့ နည်းလမ်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ မြို့တစ်မြို့က လူတွေရဲ့ အမြင်တွေကို စစ်တမ်းကောက်ချင်တယ်ဆိုရင် အဲ့ဒီမြို့မှာ အမျိုးသား ဘယ်နှစ်ယောက်ရှိလဲ၊ အမျိုးသမီး ဘယ်နှစ်ယောက်ရှိလဲ၊ အသက်အရွယ် ဘယ်လောက်ရှိတဲ့သူတွေ ဘယ်လောက်ရှိလဲဆိုတာကို သိထားရပါမယ်။ ပြီးတော့ Sample ထဲမှာလည်း အဲ့ဒီအချိုးအစားအတိုင်း လူတွေကို ထည့်ရပါမယ်။ အဲ့ဒါ

Epidemic Curve (ကပ်ရောဂါ မျဉ်းကွေး) ဆိုတာ ကူးစက်ရောဂါတစ်ခု စတင်ဖြစ်ပွားချိန်ကစပြီး အချိန်နဲ့အမျှ ဖျားနာသူ ဘယ်လောက်ရှိတယ်ဆိုတာကို ပြသထားတဲ့ ဇယား (statistical chart) တစ်ခုပါ။ ဒီဇယားကို epi curve ဒါမှမဟုတ် epidemiological curve လို့လည်း ခေါ်ကြပါတယ်။ ဒီမျဉ်းကွေးဟာ ရောဂါပျံ့နှံ့မှုပုံစံကို မြင်သာအောင် ပြသပေးပြီး၊ ရောဂါကူးစက်ပုံကို ခွဲခြားသိရှိနိုင်ဖို့ ကူညီပေးနိုင်ပါတယ်။
